I am so thankful I grabbed the camera this morning while sitting at the breaky table. I never knew it was going to be this wet and horrible. Apparently spring never got the call. So we are stuck till she arrives.

Today has been pretty eventful. Taylee had class assembly where she stood in front of the whole school and talked about her excursion. (I will try and upload the video I took with the Mark ii, just have to figure it out.) She is one funny little miss. It was so easy to get her out of the bed this morning. She would be so happy to sleep all day that kid. But I went it at 7:20am and whispered.. School assembly into her ear and she was UP!

After school assembly Ellie and I travelled to my girlfriends house to get my hair done. The regrowth was starting to offend some people. So now im looking all blonde again and all so natural.
And now its school pickup time, and then Friday night drinky poos begin :D

that is why we have a day 3 image already posted and taken so early haha.. Smart Girl.

Today was a busy one, a total contrast of yesterdays sloth day.
I had three little people arrive at my door at 7:15am to join my three little people for the manic morning rush before school drop off. After the crazy school drop off the two little ladies and i headed off to meet a lovely couple who have just last night hired me for their little ones birth…. Excited much!!!

I had to drag the two little cherubs as this birth is any day now and I like to meet my clients before the day.
We stopped at a gorgeous park in prospect on the way, the girls had so much fun up until it was time to go, Ellie decided the running away from me game was the totally funniest thing to do. That kid!!!

. It was such a cool park with water features and cute little bridges. I have to go back with the big camera. I have a few shots on the iphone that i will upload tomorrow.

On our way home (after the hair pulling the screaming matches and the sining and laughter), my little stinker decided she would stop carrying on and snooze!

My little snoozer. I could’t help but not to run inside and grab the camera.. LOVE!

Its day one of my photo a day and I nearly didn’t make it. I can’t even say it’s been hectic here today.
I have had most of the day to myself. Taylee and Jazz at school and Ellie on her usual Wednesday play date. So the photo opportunity for me earlier was pretty boring. vacuuming, changing bedding, mopping and preparing dinner.
Oh actually i could and should have grabbed a shot of my groceries being delivered. I am new to this and OMG I will never go back to the shops haha.. I even put a bottle of wine on the list. Arrived nice and cold. Bliss. Sad that thats a major highlight of my day.

Here is Day 1

My girls are ALWAYS like this……… Yeah right!

How freezing this session was on a very cold and wet winters morning, we had such a great time.
Bubbles, blocks, story time, snuggles. You could see the love that mum and dad had for their precious little girl.
How amazing are her eyes?! I was warned that little Chelsea ducked for the camera but she was a star.

What a fun session! Tom and Kortyne are the most gorgeous couple with two very CUTE little ones. We had alien forces, jail time, tickles and funny faces we had snuggles and laughter. Such a fun family day out. I laughed alot!
It was so lovely to watch a families love for one another and capture these true moments.

Meet Gorgeous Baby Katie, With her very first breath here on earth captured and being the one to do so is just mind blowing.
One of the greatest Gifts I can have and also give to new parents. Welcome to the world sweet baby girl.

I am always lost for words when someone asks me about birth photography. I can never find the word’s that quite describes the way I feel. I never had any of my girl’s birth photographed professionally. I have some cruddy pictures of Taylee, just after birth that Aaron took, with the old SLR camera that was broken and left horrid lines through images. (Yes Film days… No digital with Taylee) With Jazz everything went so fast and with Aaron helping me, and midwives delivering. And With Ellie, I actually have no idea what went on. I just wanted her birth to HURRY up! I didn’t think to get Aaron on the camera. I was all over the place. He ended up filming (I had no idea) Once again I don’t have those amazing images that truly tells a story in one image. I can’t watch Ellie’s Birth Video. It is so intense! TURN THE SOUND OFF PLEASE!!! lol!! Pictures have the ability to capture all emotion in one frame, tell the entire story in one frame. Whether you Birth your children or adopt. Those first moments when you meet your little one for the very first time, those moments are what Birth Photography is about. The raw emotion, new families, new beginnings. LIFE

Blogday2 ses1

What a gorgeous start to day two on the Yorke Peninsula.
This mornings session was at Corny Point on Emma and Andy’s family farm. We headed out onto one of their paddocks and fed the cows. (I stood back, snapped away and tried to miss stepping in the cow dung hehehe…)
It was Just Awesome!! The sun was just starting to warm the day. The cows where fed and next was feeding the lamb! Such a fun session :D
Thankyou Sooooooo very Much Andy and Emma for having Bree and I. We had a ball and can’t wait till we make another trip up.

Well as some of you may know, I was lucky enough to be employed by a lovely group of families to travel to the Yorke Peninsula. I had a blast, and met the most amazing and beautiful people.
Jess, Tim and there two adorable little girls where the BEST start to my trip. So welcoming and ready to have some fun. They had thought of a gorgeous spot just out of the township of Minlaton. It was Gorgeous! The sun was setting fast but gave out the most beautiful light.
Layla was so great with her baby sister Maggie. I even snuck a picture of Layla wispering her a secret. CUTE!

How lucky can one girl get. I seriously feel so lucky to have the best clients EVER!
Louise and Paul celebrated there wedding anniversary weeks earlier and Lou wanted some family shots but also some couple shots. She kept the photoshoot as a surprise for Paul, he only found out the night before. Weeks of keeping quite was so worth it. A wonderful early session by the beach. Just perfect.
Ash was so cute, he loved wetting his feet, watching the planes fly past and chasing me with sticks :D

Thankyou so much Lousie and Paul
